Corporate America has descended upon another concert venue. Cricket Communications has signed a multi-year naming agreement with Clear Channel Entertainment (formerly SFX) to rename the Desert Sky Pavilion in Phoenix, Cricket Pavilion. The announcement comes as Cricket gears up to launch its wireless service in the Phoenix area later this summer.

"We are very excited that Cricket has decided to showcase its brand in the area through an association with one of the Southwest's premiere destinations for live entertainment," said Brandon Sirochman, general manager of the Pavilion. "We are looking forward to a great relationship that enables Cricket to use the live entertainment experience as a means of connecting with its customers in this region and building its business."

"Our sponsorship of Cricket Pavilion shows our long-term commitment to the community," said Matt Stoiber, general manager for Cricket in Phoenix. "Clear Channel Entertainment provides us a great opportunity to highlight our company at one of the premiere concert venues in the Southwest. Stay tuned, because there will be much more excitement from Cricket as we bring our service to the Valley where people live, work and play."
