Earlier this week, Frank Iero announced that his third solo full-length album, Barriers, would be releasing on May 31 under his new moniker, Frank Iero and the Future Violents. Now, the musician has shared the album’s lead single, “Young and Doomed,” along with its music video, directed by Steve Pedulla and featuring live projects by B.A. Miale, which you can watch below.
Frank Iero and the Future Violents, made up of Iero, longtime collaborator Evan Nestor, Murder By Death’s Matt Armstrong, Thursday’s Tucker Rule, and The Mermaid’s Kayleigh Goldsworthy, is signed under the record label, UNFD. Iero first teased the band last year on Instagram. He wrote, “I have been privileged and honored to get to play with some musicians I have wanted to start a band with for over 10 years,” but didn’t reveal the members until just a few days ago.
The band will be touring this summer along the East Coast. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22. You can check out all the dates below.
