HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (CelebrityAccess) — An Ohio man has been arrested after he allegedly posed as a Live Nation rep while selling fake concert tickets.

According to local NBC affiliate WSAZ, John Holstein, 42, of South Point, was arrested and charged with selling counterfeit concert tickets.

According to the criminal complaint, Holstein was in a crowd in front of an arena selling tickets for $60 a piece when he was arrested.

Police said he had sold approximately 50 tickets, which he reportedly admitted were counterfeit.

Police say Holstein's alleged victims confirmed the story, stating that Holstein identified himself as a Live Nation employee with some noting that they had purchased tickets from him previously without incident.

"We gave our money to him a few days before they went on sale so we kind of just thought we were getting presale," Jessalyn Parsons, one of the alleged victims told WSAZ. "Nothing seemed off about it. It seemed legit. We wouldn't have dreamed that we would be in the situation that we're at right now." – Staff Writers
