Boban Marjanovic (born August 15, 1988) is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball (NBA).
He plays internationally for his Serbian national basketball team as well. He was chosen for the All-EuroLeague First Team in 2015.
Boban Marjanovic has performed as an actor in many movies. Milica Krstić, his wife, and they have children together. They were together in a relationship for six years before they got married.

Early Life
Boban Marjanovic was born on the 15th of August, 1988, in Boljevac, Serbia, to a loving mother, Smilja Marjanović. He was born and reared in eastern Serbia’s Boljevac.
Although he has always been tall, the rest of his family is of normal height; his father is only 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 meters) tall. His gigantism is likely to have been caused by a pituitary gland disorder.
Boban Marjanovic first played basketball with the Rtanj youth teams in Boljevac. At the age of 14, he started playing for the Serbian professional team Hemofarm. He was 2.09 m (6 ft 10+12 in) tall. He competed in their youth divisions until the 2005-2006 season.

Career
In the second half of the 2005-06 Adriatic League season, Boban Marjanovic joined Hemofarm’s main team. He continued playing there until January 2007, when he was loaned to Swisslion Takovo of the Serbian League. He went there for half a season before coming back to Hemofarm.
At Dusko Vujovic‘s request, Boban Marjanovic signed a three-year contract with CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2010. He lost his spot in CSKA’s first team when Dusko Vujovic was dismissed. He was loaned to Algiris on December 31, 2010, for the remainder of the 2010-11 campaign.
He signed with Nizhny Novgorod in July 2011 and played there for six months. He returned to Serbia in January 2012 and agreed to a loan deal with Radnički Kragujevac to play the remaining games of the 2011-12 campaign. He committed to the Serbian team Mega Vizura in July 2012 for the 2012–13 campaign. He received the Serbian League MVP award.
Boban Marjanovic and Crvena Zvezda agreed to a two-year contract on July 2, 2013. He received the EuroLeague MVP of the Round Award for Round 10 in December 2013. He was chosen, along with his teammate DeMarcus Nelson, for the Ideal Team for the 2013-2014 ABA League Season in April 2014.
Boban Marjanovic led his side to a 76-68 victory over Galatasaray in the opening match of the 2014-15 EuroLeague season by scoring 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in 28 minutes. Later, he was recognized as the Round 1 EuroLeague MVP. In a double overtime 103–110 loss against Galatasaray on November 22, 2014, he finished with 23 points and a career-high 17 rebounds for a final index rating of 39.
Back then, he broke Mirsad Türkcan‘s record of 248 rebounds in the 2002-03 season on April 9 when he set the EuroLeague record for the most rebounds in a single stand since the 2000-01 season. In addition, he surpassed Tanoka Beard‘s previous record of 14 double-doubles in the 2004-05 season by recording 16 in the EuroLeague.
Boban Marjanovic averaged all-career highs of 16.6 points, a league-leading 10.7 rebounds, and a record 25.67 PIR over 24 EuroLeague games, which is the highest mark since the EuroLeague 2000-01 season. He was chosen for the Ideal Team for the 2014-2015 ABA League Season on April 2, 2015. Later the same month, he contributed to his team’s victory in 2014–15.
He was recognized as the ABA League playoffs’ MVP. He was selected for the All-EuroLeague First Team in May 2015. Boban Marjanovic, whose club finished the regular season with a 13-1 record and first place, was voted the Serbian Super League MVP for the third straight year on June 5, 2015. Crvena Zvezda defeated Partizan Belgrade 3-0 in the 2014–15 Serbian League final to claim the title.
Boban Marjanovic agreed to a one-year, $1.2 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs on July 17, 2015. On October 30, he played in his first NBA game, contributing six points and five rebounds to the Spurs’ 102-75 victories over the Brooklyn Nets. He was transferred to the Austin Spurs, San Antonio’s D-League franchise, on December 4.
Tim Duncan was out injured, and LaMarcus Aldridge was limited to six points in a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 28. Still, Boban Marjanovic scored 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting in 14 minutes to help his team win against the Timberwolves 101-95 and home base winning record to 27 games (dating to the 2014–15 season).
He became the first player in Spurs club history to grab 12 rebounds in under 15 minutes two days later during a victory over the Phoenix Suns. He had a career-high 13 rebounds on January 21, 2016, when the Phoenix Suns were defeated 117-89.
