Critically acclaimed electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling has unveiled her highly anticipated fifth studio album Artemis.
Inspired by anime, Lindsey’s new album is centred around Artemis, the goddess of the moon in ancient Greek mythology. Artemis represents “the fight in all of us to reclaim light back into our lives”, with Lindsey drawing parallels to her own life experiences as she overcomes obstacles to reclaim her happiness and strength.
In the run up to the album, the violinist unveiled the album opener ‘Underground’, ‘The Upside’ with Elle King, and the title track, with Lindsey also releasing striking accompanying visuals. Now with the album available to download and stream in full, there are a total of 13 tracks including a collaboration called ‘Love Goes On and On’ featuring Evanescence star Amy Lee.
